Records365 Service Description

Records365 is a world first in cloud Records Management and the latest offering from RecordPoint.

Built for popular content collaboration platforms, Records365 provides features that seamlessly control and automate records management for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and other cloud-based services such as Box. In addition, Records365 can manage on-premise content repositories such as File Shares and SharePoint On-Prem deployments.

The solution enables users to work unimpeded with their content in source systems while the Records365 service works in the background to provide advanced records management controls and classification of records through its automated rules engine.

The Records365 rules engine uses metadata and data in the source content systems to understand the records context, and the rules engine matches this data with compliance policies to automate records classification.

Fine grained records management controls and process orchestration are surfaced via a set of records management administrative views, and are governed by records managers to ensure compliance with the desired records management policies and outcomes. Physical and electronic records are supported.

The Connector Suite also provides a ready to use library of content connectors for popular content sources. All that is required to get started is to configure the connection to the content source.

Records365 features an extensible connector framework that enables the integration of internally developed enterprise applications that are not part of the Records365 off-the-shelf connector suite. This achieved through a rich set of APIs that are part of the connector framework, which enables Records365 to manage any content source, such as internally developed enterprise applications.
